This extensive course will identify and explore primal-oriented therapies, and is designed to be an adjunct to counselling and psychotherapy courses. However, it is also suitable to be studied alone for life-enrichment purposes. Freud first used the term 'primal' in 1914, crediting his teacher, Joseph Breuer with the distinction between free, mobile, or primal processes and tonic, bound, or secondary processes. His elaboration of these differences constitutes one of his most fundamental contributions to psychology.
This course will teach you how to access the primal realm of your client or yourself and how to release primal energies or trauma for successful therapy, as well as equipping you with a variety of other useful skills.
"It is the common wonder of all men, how among so many millions of faces, there should be none alike." - Sir Thomas Browne
