Holistic interior design is the process of organising and decorating the internal space of a building. It is intended to refresh and revitalise a space, to make that space more functional, enjoyable, and beautiful. Health & Harmony Colleges 'Diploma of Holistic Interior Design' will provide students with the complex knowledge, practical skills, and inspiration necessary to create ambient, cohesive, and healthful interior spaces.
Through exciting real-world case studies, students will be introduced to the rich history of interior design and its key contemporary styles. Students will be comprehensively guided through fundamental interior design principles, including the correct use of functional space, the effective application of light and colour, the selection of flooring and furniture, innovative storage options, and room display and ornamentation. Incorporated throughout the course are essential discussions on the use of ancient, harmonious Feng Shui concepts in holistic interior design, including light, balance, nature, and energy, each of which are understood to contribute significantly to human well-being.
This course will culminate in the comprehensive planning and completion of your own small-scale, low-budget, do-it-yourself (DIY) holistic interior design project!
"Facing our individual and collective polarity and accepting it in its true sense ends judging ourselves and others and helps with transformations, both individual and collective. Awareness of this heals body, mind, and soul." - Thorwald Dethlesfen
