Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the complex energy healing practice known as the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Emotional Freedom Technique healing is based upon the understanding of meridians, or energy systems, in the human body. Imbalances in the movement of energy through these meridians – often a result of the prolonged trapping of negative emotions – results in a range of complex physiological and psychological illnesses. By physically interacting with these meridians – that is, by applying pressure, or ‘tapping,’ them in specific sequences, at traditional acupressure points - such imbalances may be repaired, thereby rapidly and permanently resolving illness.
This course enables students to develop the fundamental theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to support and improve physiological and psychological wellness, through application of the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Student education begins with a comprehensive overview of the meridian system, the therapeutic and diagnostic acupoints, and the biomechanics of the Emotional Freedom Technique.
Once this foundational knowledge has been established, the students will examine, through a series of real-world case studies, the diverse physiological, psychological, and other healing applications of Meridian Psychotherapy and the Emotional Freedom Technique, as well as the scientific evidence underpinning EFT. Students who successfully complete this course will be confident, effective, professional Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioners.
