Eastern Holistic Therapy
This course offers students a comprehensive overview of the diverse Eastern holistic therapies, and their use in the healing of a variety of physical and psychological illnesses in contemporary practice. The course begins by providing students with a thorough analysis of the fundamental theoretical knowledge which underpins eastern holistic therapy healing, including the meridian system, chakras, acupoints, and other healing concepts. The course then guides students through the practical skills required to promote physical and psychological healing through the use a range of ancient Eastern holistic therapies, including Ayurveda, Feng Shui, Indian Head Massage, Kinesiology, Meditation, Qi Gong, Reflexology, Shiatsu, and Chinese Herbalism. This course concludes by introducing students to the foundational knowledge required to successfully conduct healing consultations in professional practice, including key skills in positive communication and therapeutic relationships.
