Advanced Ayurveda Diploma

Ayurveda is the ancient science of life that emerged from the same great synthesis of Indian spiritual traditions that gave rise to yoga, meditation, and tantra.

In addition to elaborating advanced material, this course integrates all the important theoretical elements of the foundational course. It is an opportunity to refresh or deepen your Ayurvedic studies or to begin them in earnest. In particular, this course focuses on the herbal and nutritional aspects of Ayurveda.

You will be shown how to make a variety of powerful herbal preparations. You will also be introduced to the ancient Indian system of elements earth, water, air, fire, and aether. These elements are deeply interwoven with the three bodily types, the six tastes, and the active potencies of all foods and herbs. At the root of these ideas is the deep relationship that exists between the human psyche, the human body, and its natural environment.
